United States Patent: 6,123,257 Masonry mailbox assembly with replaceable mailbox insert and method of constructing same. A masonry mailbox assembly including a masonry shell, a mailbox liner encased within the shell and a mailbox insert disposed within the mailbox liner. The mailbox insert can be removably secured within the mailbox liner so that the mailbox can be replaced without dismantling the masonry shell. Also disclosed is a mailbox face for use as the mailbox insert in place of a complete mailbox. the mailbox face includes a mailbox door pivotally mounted to a flange and can be used to repair existing masonry mailboxes with a damaged mailbox insert.
